Romateatern at Romaklosterruin has for 25 years established itself as one of Sweden’s largest and most beautiful summer scenes. The theater attracts a wide audience and at the same time has achieved national and international reputation for its high artistic quality.
Every year, 25,000 enthusiastic spectators roam through the avenues towards the playground to spend the summer evening at Romateatern – while the twilight closes and the theater light takes over and enhances the mysticism of the old abbey dating from the 12th century.
